Eric is from my hometown in NJ - we're all praying for him. Great guy- motivated to be a role model for his nephews. Still could be a role model now, though not as a pro athlete, unfortunately. Some minor good news recently, his C-3 injury has been reclassified as partial vs. total and he is off a ventilator- slow progress to be sure. But progress. Wondering if anyone knows of recovery prognosis from C-3 partial spinal cord injuries? BTW, to help him out, Rutgers has set up the Eric LeGrand Believe fund.[br][br] [/img]

[/img][br][br]Every time people complain that sports players are payed too much, I think of things like this. Not many jobs have short careers, high physical and mental stress, and the danger of devastating, irreparable damage to your health. [br][br]"Rutgers defense tackle Eric LeGrand currently has no movement below the neck following surgery Saturday night for a spinal cord injury he suffered in the Scarlet Knights' 23-20 overtime victory at Army." [br][br]This guy deserves more money than he's making.
