Is surgery always the best option for back pain? According to one recent article
:"Almost $90 billion is spent on back pain annually, when, in reality, time is often the most effective treatment. In fact, studies show that 90 percent of back pain heal without further intervention."
I worry sometimes that we're too much of a quick fix society, immediately jumping into surgery or prescription pills for every minor ailment. Which isn't to say that sometimes surgery or prescription pills aren't the best option, but that maybe all options should be considered first.
What do you guys think?
