  • Thyroid Disease/Nodules

    Symptoms
    Most people who develop thyroid nodules have no symptoms. However, symptoms can include:


    • A sensation of a lump in the throat
    • Difficulty swallowing
    • Hoarseness
    • Cough

    A nodule can produce excess thyroid hormone (hyperactive nodule). Symptoms of this condition include:


    • An elevated heart rate
    • Weight loss
    • Diarrhea
    • Tremor

    On the other hand, underactive thyroid nodules can result in a condition known as hypothyroidism. Symptoms of this condition may include:
